This scissor arm model is so popular and well-recognized as the flagship mic stand from Neewer. Being so affordable, solid built and quality, the Neewer’s boom arm stand has become the best-selling mic stand within the Neewer’s mic stand category. Its scissor arm can strength up to 80cm/31.5 inches. And it’s capable of supporting the mic setup that weight up to 2kg. The microphone clip can hold the handheld mic that has the body up to 32mm/1.26 inches. It utilizes the stretchable spring mechanism to create a super-strong spring pulling capability to sustain more weight. The only problem is that the spring itself will generate some spring stretching noises when you adjust/ extend the boom arm.
Overall, it’s quite an affordable boom arm mic stand for common studio recording purposes.
